The colours fresh, in the original presentation form. In impeccable overall condition
In his studio on Lake Orta, the artist intensified his landscape painting from 1954, which he increasingly simplified, however, and finally dissolved and abstracted. In 1959 he created his first purely abstract painting. From then on, his work was characterised by geometries, numerical relationships and proportions, such as the use of the "golden section". He calls the "spazio mentale", the mental space, his creative principle, which, however, follows intuitive rather than radical constructivist rules. The present painting is a homage to the composer Erik Satie; "counterpoint" is also simplified as "countervoice". A very early, abstract painting, typical of the fine, almost glazed application of paint.

Farbfrisch, in der originalen Präsentationsform. In tadelloser Gesamterhaltung
